External Hard Disc How To Install Ubuntu On An External Hard Disc?

How to install Ubuntu on an external hard disc? - external hard disc

The files are on my external hard drive, but you do not know how to get the Ubuntu operating system appears on my PC. I decided to copy to an external drive because I have enough space in my normal and I want to be able to choose between Windows and Ubuntu.

  1. This is not a good idea to install an operating system, since the transmission rate is much slower than an external hard drive internally, and most of them in connection via USB

Connected only handle external e-SATA capable, with the transfer of data streaming

anyway for an operating system from the external hard drive must first boot priority to USB / external devices load / change media
This is in the BIOS setup (usually adjustments in advance or in the Start menu)
You can access it by restarting your computer and use
F2, DEL, F6, F12, or ESC, depending on your device

But I personally recommend and creates space for Ubuntu and installation on the internal hard drive

    I hope that helps!

  2. I am sure that the 2 OS should be allowed in the same unit that the choice of boat!

Why not burn a CD of Ubuntu, if you want to use, just stick in the drive and restart automatically. (assuming that the boot priority in BIOS is configured correctly, ie CD \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ DVD drive before the hard drive
